Today we are going to play the accompaniment of the cante por alegrías in the key of E major (toque por arriba). This tutorial has the tab of the chords I play and also a flamenco metronome so you can follow the beats of the 12-beat compás.
Lyrics of the cante (in Spanish)
===============
Tirititrán, trán, trán
Tirititrán, trán, trán, trán
Tirititrán, trán, treo, ay
Tirititrán, trán, trán, trán
Ay un duro le di al barbero
por pasar navarreria
que los amores de navarra
son caros pero muy buenos
que con la luz de cigarro
yo vi el molino
se me apago el cigarro
perdi el camino
que me quisite yo que quise
ay me olvidaste y te olvide
con el pago que me diste
ay con el mismo yo te pagué
marinerito soy
del agua vivo
cuando salgo a la tierra
me bebo el vino
que cambiaste el oro por plata
y la plata perdio su brillo
ay cambiaste la noche oscura
por una noche muy clara
Tirititrán, trán, trán
Tirititrán, trán, trán, trán
Tirititrán, trán, treo, ay
Tirititrán, trán, trán, trán
